【摘要】:ThispartofISO14531specifiesthephysicalpropertiesandmechanicalperformancerequirementsofcrosslinkedpolyethylene(PE-X)andpolyethylene(PE)socket,saddleandspigotfittingsfortheconnectionbysocketorsaddleheat-fusionjointingtechniquesofPE-XpipesmanufacturedinaccordancewithISO14531-1.Inaddition,itlaysdowndimensionalrequirementsandspecifiessomegeneralmaterialproperties(includingchemicalstability)togetherwithaclassificationschemeforPE-Xfittingbasematerialsproducedintheformofpipe.Thispart,whenusedinconjunctionwiththeotherpartsofISO14531,providesthebasisforthedesign,manufactureandinstallationofPE-Xpipingsystems(PE-Xpipes,PE-Xfusionfittingsandmechanicalfittings)forthesupplyofcategoryDandcategoryEgaseousfuels(seeISO13623)at:a)maximumoperatingpressures(MOP)uptoandincluding16bar;b)amaximumoperatingtemperatureof+60℃;c)aminimumoperatingtemperatureofi)-50℃ii)-35℃iii)-20℃.ConformitytothispartofISO14531ofPEfittingsforheat-fusionjointingproducedinaccordancewithISO8085-3maybeclaimedsubjecttothesatisfactoryconclusionofthetestslistedin5.11andanenduserestrictiononoperatingtemperatureoffrom-20℃to+40℃withamaximumoperatingpressureasdeterminedbyISO8085-3.NOTEProvisionismadeinISO14531-4fortheuseonarestrictedtemperaturebasisofISO8085fittingsconformingto5.11inconjunctionwithPE-XpipeconformingtoISO14531-1.Thetechnicalfileofthefittingmanufacturershouldalsobeconsultedforrelevantsupportinginformation.Forinstallationpurposes,thispartofISO14531providesforthejointingofheat-fusionfittingstoPE-Xpipeswithinthetemperaturerange-5℃to+40℃.note:1)1bar=10N/m=100kPa
