【摘要】:Theanilinepoint(ormixedanilinepoint)isusefulasanaidinthecharacterizationofpurehydrocarbonsandintheanalysisofhydrocarbonmixtures.Aromatichydrocarbonsexhibitthelowest,andparaffinsthehighestvalues.Cycloparaffinsandolefinsexhibitvaluesthatliebetweenthoseforparaffinsandaromatics.Inhomologousseriestheanilinepointsincreasewithincreasingmolecularweight.Althoughitoccasionallyisusedincombinationwithotherphysicalpropertiesincorrelativemethodsforhydrocarbonanalysis,theanilinepointismostoftenusedtoprovideanestimateofthearomatichydrocarboncontentofmixtures.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationoftheanilinepointofpetroleumproductsandhydrocarbonsolvents.TestMethodAissuitablefortransparentsampleswithaninitialboilingpointaboveroomtemperatureandwheretheanilinepointisbelowthebubblepointandabovethesolidificationpointoftheaniline-samplemixture.TestMethodB,athin-filmmethod,issuitableforsamplestoodarkfortestingbyTestMethodA.TestMethodsCandDareforsamplesthatmayvaporizeappreciablyattheanilinepoint.TestMethodDisparticularlysuitablewhereonlysmallquantitiesofsampleareavailable.TestMethodEdescribesaprocedureusinganautomaticapparatussuitablefortherangecoveredbyTestMethodsAandB.1.2Thesetestmethodsalsocoverthedeterminationofthemixedanilinepointofpetroleumproductsandhydrocarbonsolventshavinganilinepointsbelowthetemperatureatwhichanilinewillcrystallizefromtheaniline-samplemixture.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificwarningstatementsaregiveninSection7.
